What clients say
Sellers trust us because the relationship doesn't end at the transaction. Most come to us through a previous client. One specialist handles the deal from valuation to cleared payment — no handovers, no listings, no third parties. Most clients return, and many introduce us to people they trust.

Part exchange combines a sale and a purchase, but the figures should remain easy to compare. Ask for the value of your current piece, the price of the replacement and the resulting balance. The advertised price of a similar watch is not automatically its trade-in value: condition, configuration, service requirements and demand all affect an offer.
An initial valuation is subject to inspection. We explain any difference before asking you to accept the final terms. If you have not chosen a replacement, we can first discuss what you own and the budget you want to work within.
You can enquire about moving from a sports watch to a dress watch, changing case size or trading jewellery towards a watch. Include the exact stock item or reference you are considering so we can check availability. Each proposed exchange is assessed individually.
Tell us about more than one item if you would like to consolidate a collection. We assess each piece separately rather than treating the collection as a single unidentified lot.
Clear photographs of the dial, case, clasp and any wear help us prepare the first assessment. For jewellery, include the collection, metal, size, hallmarks and any stone documentation. Keep serial numbers and ownership documents in your private enquiry rather than posting them publicly.
Original packaging, spare links, receipts and service records are useful. Missing papers do not rule out an enquiry, but tell us what is included and about any repairs, engraving or replacement parts.
Visit our Belgravia office by appointment or discuss sending your item to us. Confirm the arrangements and cover before sending an item. Your specialist will explain when the replacement can be reserved and what needs to happen before it is released.
Where your current piece is worth less, the agreed balance is payable before completion. If it is worth more, discuss how the difference will be settled. No exchange is complete until both values and the handover terms are accepted.
Our team brings 30 years of combined watch and jewellery experience. A watch specialist with seven years at an authorised Rolex distributor considers reference, configuration and condition; our precious-metals specialist brings ten years in the gold industry.
The same conversation covers what you own and what you hope to acquire. Ask us to explain the inspection findings, any work reflected in the offer and the final balance. Finer Lux is an independent dealer, not an authorised representative of the brands we handle.
