Moonwatch, Racing, Reduced and other Speedmaster references should not be treated as interchangeable. Case size, movement, crystal type and dial configuration can distinguish watches that look similar in a quick photograph. Include the complete reference and any information about the calibre.
Special packaging and accessories may belong to a particular edition. Tell us what remains with the watch and whether the bracelet or dial has been changed. We assess the actual set rather than using the highest advertised Speedmaster price as a benchmark.
Our physical inspection checks movement and component originality as well as external condition. Tell us whether the watch keeps time, has been polished or needs servicing. These details can change the final offer.
The Seamaster family includes different designs, generations and movement types. A Diver 300M, an Aqua Terra and a Planet Ocean serve different buyers, and size, metal, dial and bracelet affect the comparison within each range.
Disclose bezel wear, clasp issues, moisture exposure and any servicing. Water resistance is not assumed from a depth rating on the dial or case back. The inspection and condition of your watch determine the offer.
We also assess Omega dress watches, older Constellations and De Ville references. With vintage pieces, dial condition, case wear and originality can be more informative than a polished appearance. An inherited watch does not need a known reference before you can enquire.
Send clear photographs of the watch and any paperwork. Avoid opening the case yourself or arranging cosmetic work just for the sale. We can discuss identification and assess a stopped or incomplete watch with the relevant limitations.
Original warranty cards, pictogram or certification cards where supplied, service invoices, spare links and packaging help describe the set. Tell us what is missing and whether any parts were replaced during servicing.
Start with a no-obligation quote, then agree a Belgravia appointment or customer-arranged postage. The final offer follows inspection and verification. Payment is arranged once you accept, without needing to manage a public listing or negotiate with multiple buyers.
To complete a sale, we need your identification and residential address, with purchase receipts where available. Contact your specialist about providing identification. Keep unrelated personal information out of your initial item photographs.
