Check the reference on the warranty card, purchase receipt or service paperwork. The reference identifies the watch type, while the serial identifies an individual watch. Keep the full serial number out of public photographs.
If paperwork is missing, send front and side photographs of your Oyster Perpetual, plus the bracelet and clasp. You do not need to remove the bracelet or open the case to start a valuation.
