Our guide can help estimate the year of an older Rolex. For watches with a random serial number, check the warranty card or service records.
Tell us the case size, dial colour and reference if you know it. Include the date on the warranty card. These details help us identify your Land-Dweller before discussing its value.
The Land-Dweller size, metal and dial details help identify the watch being sold. Include the full reference and warranty-card date, along with photographs of the case and Flat Jubilee bracelet. Protective stickers do not replace an accurate description of whether the watch has been worn.
Photograph the bracelet, clasp and case edges together. Include spare links and mention resizing, polishing or repairs. Documents can establish purchase and service history, but the offer still depends on the condition of the actual watch.
We assess modern, vintage and discontinued Land-Dweller watches individually. Send the reference and photographs so we can identify the generation and explain the next step.
An older watch or a version not pictured can still be submitted for assessment. Use its own reference and history rather than selecting a newer watch because it looks similar.
Include the case size if known, the dial colour, bracelet or strap and any diamond setting. A warranty card or service invoice can help separate watches that look alike. Missing paperwork does not prevent you from requesting an assessment.
Send the reference, photographs and condition details for an initial estimate. Arrange an appointment or agree shipping with us, then we inspect the watch and confirm the final offer.
After inspection and price agreement, payment is made within 30 minutes by bank transfer, cash or cryptocurrency, as agreed with your specialist. There is no obligation to accept. Shipping and return arrangements are explained in our Rolex selling guide.
